Music video ideas/ conversations

 SOOOOOOO I keep pondering and questioning different ideas based on what I 1. Think is possible to actually create and 2. Something that will captivate audiences and market Jack’s brand successfully. In the past week I’ve had multiple conversations with Jack about music video ideas and brand ideas because I want to make sure he also likes it and feels comfortable with it since he’s a real artist and this music is his.

He has also sent me the official recording of the song that I will use in the music video and I personally am so excited because it captures the exact essence of the brand. Here’s a little snippet 😉

 So since I’ve decided to make Jack a super indie teen angst rocker I’ve collected a few photos for the aesthetic I will create with him for his artist’s persona. 

I created the Instagram and it is called jackkkimmel and in capitals the username is JACK KIMMEL. For now his profile photo will be black until I decide which profile photo fits the aesthetic the best.

I’m going to OFFICIALLY brand him as is teen angst indie emotional rock star. The vibe/ aesthetic/ inspiration for his brand is below: 

On canva I am going to design an album/ single cover for his new song (the song used in the music video).

Before I can post anything I want to make sure that the account itself gains attention and the target audience (people ages 14-24) begins to get to know his persona. Also, before posting anything promotional things for the music video I’d like to post him doing covers of songs or just playing the guitar to draw attention to the fact that he’s a real legit rockstar. Then in two weeks I’ll post a snippet of him playing the song as a tease. I’d also like to post random photo dumps like the teen pop global sensation Olivia Rodrigo to give the audience a look into who the artist/ persona of Jack Kimmel is.  

For this project I have just been thinking back to the marketing project that I did in AICE Media Studies AS and how we marketed/ branded the artist “Adeline X” so well that people thought I (as Adeline X) was going to release a song. Next week I am going to work with jack to really start to build his persona and change the cover art for his previous released songs and his Spotify profile picture to really begin to brand and market him.
