Album cover making

After  Tuesday’s photoshoot and filming I finally had all the photos I needed for promotion. The inspiration was this:

And so far this is what I have settled on. I might play around with different colors and styles depending on how different the color grading is for the music video. 

Using the inspiration I had from the other album covers I knew I would have to take photographs of Jack in different spots and poses. So while we were filming at his house we went to a blank white wall and took these photos on a mini digital camera that I own. 

Once I began editing on Canva I layered them out in the way I liked the best and began to play around with the coloring and the exposure. 

In this screenshot I tried out different filters and specifically used the filter Minty to add a pop of color into the album cover. 

In this one I used the filter hibiscus on the red shaded photo. For the other two I tried multiple different shades and colors but ended up settling on the filter Newspaper. These filters take the photos from be in regular pictures and turns them into art. 

I had multiple attempts and trials with the album cover and I sent them all to Jack. 

In these versions there are only 2 colors 

I also played around with the font ad the font location as you can see above. The font I decided I liked best was the font Bernoru expanded which I ended up placing in the top left corner and lower right corner.
