Alright so deciding the genre of the music video is my goal for this week and I thought it would be much more difficult to decide, but I wanted to decide it for the week so that I could research specific music videos with the genre and not just all genres of music because studying the genre and researching it is more effective than researching all genres.
So as I mentioned, my artist’s name is Jack Kimmel and I’ll be using him as the actor in the music video and I’ll be using his new song that releases this Friday because it is an alternative rock song which is my original idea for this project. Jack is a person I discovered and decided to use for my project from watching him play in a rock band and my original idea Was for his band to be the artist, but since they don’t have any music released, and they live much farther than Jack I decided Only to work with Jack, considering he has music released and working with him alone Would be much easier.
So for this week, I’m going to continue researching the genre Alternative Rock, considering that THAT is the genre for his new song releasing on Friday and I’m going to keep planning things out and communicating with Jack about the social media page.
He also sent me an inspiration playlist for his music of much more well known artists which will help me in m research.
